Goals:

This is an investigation consisting of a mobility and demand survey to the users of the Tram of Tenerife, with the purpose of knowing different questions related to the use made of the transport tickets, the way to acquire them, the degree of substitution of the car, the degree of satisfaction with the service, the motivations of displacement, the origin and destination when traveling, etc.

 

Job description:

The work developed by ABACO consists in carrying out the surveys of the users of the Tranvía, through the application of pre-established questionnaires. It starts from a stratified random sampling with control of quotas by stop, platform, time period, sex and age, based on the sample defined by MTSA.

The first wave in 2018 took place on May 15 and 22, 2018 and 1,352 surveys were obtained, which represents a sampling error of 2.7% for a confidence level of 95%.

The second wave in 2018 took place on October 16 and 23, 2018 and 1352 surveys were obtained, which represents a sampling error of 2.7% for a confidence level of 95%.

The first wave in 2019 took place on May 14 and 21, 2019 and 1,436 surveys were obtained, which represents a sampling error of 2.7% for a confidence level of 95%.

The second wave in 2019 took place on October 15 and 22, 2019 and 1369 surveys were obtained, which represents a sampling error of 2.64% for a confidence level of 95%.
