Goals:

This is a survey consisting of conducting interviews to users of the ML-1 line of Metro Ligero Madrid as well as lines ML-2 and ML-3 of Metro Ligero Oeste, in order to quantify and characterize the existing demand in these lines.

Job description:

The work developed by ABACO consists of a series of data takings in the following lines:

ML-1:

• A census capacity, covering the entire period of service, carried out on board and on platform.
• Interviews conducted on board throughout the entire service period. A total of 5,184 valid interviews were conducted out of a count of 18,492 travelers, which means a sample of 28.0%.

ML-2

• A census capacity, covering the entire period of service, carried out on board and on platform.
• Interviews conducted on board throughout the entire service period. A total of 5,310 valid interviews were conducted out of a count of 14,827 travelers, which means a sample of 35.8%.

ML-3

• A census capacity, covering the entire period of service, carried out on board and on platform.
• A survey, distributed throughout the entire service period, carried out on board the trains. A total of 5,106 valid surveys were conducted on a capacity of 13,858 travelers, which represents a sample of 36.8%.
