Mode: Interurban buses

Client: Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid

Goals:

This work is part of the surveys carried out periodically by Consorcio de Transportes de Madrid to collect data on the operation of the public transport network in Madrid and analyze the demand in order to plan and program the delivery of the Services with the greatest guarantees of a correct adaptation of supply to demand.

  • The demand of passengers by stop (in and out), time period and transport title in each line.
  • The mobility characteristics of such demand, travel motive, modal chain and magnitude of the spatial relationships within the line, namely oscilograms of load and matrices of in/out stops
  • The characteristics of the supply actually produced and its deviation from the theoretical one, for the sample analyzed
  • Obtaining information on the demand coming from crossing the explanatory variables, as well as relating it to the characteristics of supply and levels of occupancy.
